Keith Smith表示，史密斯的新合同，第一年的薪水完全保障（估計237萬），后兩年的（估計551萬）目前是不受保障的，會在每個賽季開始那一年的6月下旬轉(zhuǎn)為保障。

德魯來自熱火訓(xùn)練體系，在過去兩年分別克服了導(dǎo)致賽季報銷的前十字韌帶和跟腱傷病。

上賽季，德魯出戰(zhàn)14場，場均貢獻6.2分1.5搶斷，投籃命中率51%，三分命中率53%。
